Instructions
Add the blueberries, vanilla ice cream, and milk to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Top with whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, and a few sprinkles for fun.
Notes
Frozen blueberries make the milkshake colder and thicker. If using fresh, you can add a few ice cubes to chill it more (not necessary in my opinion)
Vanilla ice cream adds richness and sweetness, no need for extra sugar unless your berries are very tart.
Whole milk gives the creamiest texture, but any milk (including almond or oat) can be used.
Adjust thickness by adding more ice cream to thicken or more milk to thin the shake.
Serve immediately for the best texture, milkshakes don’t hold up well if left sitting.
Toppings are optional but fun, especially for kids. You can also add a few extra berries on top for color.
